1.  Start with the right tools – blow dry with a round brush for volume and smoothness. Use a small round brush to create body and bend, and to get right to the root of your hair. Use a larger brush to create a smoother look, with extra volume.

2.  Resist the urge to wash your hair daily – it strips your hair of its natural oils. If you have to wash your hair daily, rinse your hair and use only conditioner. Constant shampooing will cause dryness.

3.  When styling your hair, remember bangs and shorter layers need to be maintained right away. Blow dry these sections first, before they dry naturally. If hair dries the wrong way, it becomes much more difficult to style.

4.  Annoyed by pesky flyaways and frizz? Remember to always keep your hairdryer’s nozzle in a downward-facing position to create a sleek and polished look.
